I'm going to take my dad fishing, and we're going to DVL to rent a pontoon. He's old, so I have to get a pontoon so he will be comfortable getting on/off the boat. I think bait fishing for stripers would be easiest for him. Anyway. I was wondering if anybody here has tried bait fishing with grunion? We are going to use dines/chovies, but it being grunion season got me wondering.
