Diamond Valley lake First Striped bass
Since conditions were not great at castaic our last time out we decided to change it a bit and head over to Diamond Valley Lake to see if we could get some Striper action , I havent been to diamond Valley Lake in at least 10 years , I forgot how beautiful this Lake is , What I do remember is that it was a tough lake. We arrived at the lake around 7 AM and were greeted with some thick fog. Jeff and I have spent a day servicing my little boat so I was looking forward to see how well it ran and it didnt disappoint or so I thought I hit the start button and it started right up And running awesome for about 30 seconds and then it shut off and wouldnt turn back on but lucky me I had a mechanic on board. Jeff looked at it For about a minute and said I know what were gonna do so we pulled it out of the water , Jeff did His thing, reran some fuel lines then we were back in business, We tried all sorts of lures and jigs And did a lot of exploring to find the fishing spots on the lake we definitely learned a lot cant wait to go out there again theres a couple pictures of the ones I decided to play with us
