Default Closed mouth's don't get fed

During trout season have you ever thought to yourself damn i just wish the lake would stay open a little later so that you could get in on the evening bite, or as 4 o clock rolls around as your picking up your gear but you still leave your poles out last and the bite starts going crazy but all you can do is reel in and go home,(i know thats happen to me numerous times). wouldnt it be cool if irvine just stayed open may 2-3 hours later? now im not saying all the time but maybe just fri and sat or even just sat would be cool. Maybe if we could get a show of hands of people that would would appreciate extended hours during trout season that the great powers that be of irvine lake would take this into consideration and make it happen. So lets see a show of hands, it cant hurt to ask. Like i always say closed mouth doesnt get fed so lets open our mouths and see what happens.

Yeah you and your boyz looked absolutely miserable hammering the trout on the mini jigs in the lagoon last season....I'll just look forward to all your Castaic/Pyramid striper skunk reports from Nov-April buddy!

I think the lake sdhould stay open until 7pm.I dont think its payroll.Irvine lake gets way more money during trout season then catfish season for sure.Hot temps keep the croud down.I agree at least the weekends should be from 6am to 8pm.I hate leaving at 4pm then I have to go home in that 2 hour traffic.Or staying at the lake until trffic dies down and watch the bird slay fish.I would rent more boats also.I like 6am to 2am.Its worth 140 dollars. But not 6-4.Hopefully they will stay open later !

Sorry to burst the bubble, I believe even if we pay more for extended hours its not going to happen. Reasons being is that the cost of overhead is going to be to large, even with additional fees. Also the big thing is going to be the insurance on it. Keeping customers on a private lake is really expensive and can be a major insurance risk.

However would be cool though to extend the hours
