Default Fishing Line interchangable with salt and fresh?

I would like to adventure to the salt and was curious on fishing line. Now, I know big game can be used in fresh and salt but, how about the others?
In particular, I have P-line floroclear, okay to use in salt?
I, also, have Berkley Trilene XS, salt?

I have looked at websites, ie Berkley but, really, dosen't tell me.

Do I need to respool? With Ande?

I have checked my reels and they're okay for salt, just as long as I rinse them afterwards.

Looking to try some bays and harbors out.

    Thoughts?

It's perfectly fine, just expect to change line a little more often because of all the extra abrasion you deal with in the salt (sand, pilings, eel grass, kelp, etc).

    Same line.. Salt & fresh.....

Salt will deteriorate it much faster, so change out more often...

    Example...
I used new 2# Cuda one time to test it in NPH against fish with Teeth, took the reel out to Silverwood about 3 days later.. Line was falling apart in my hand... Couldnt even tie a knot...

This was my go to Cuda line, I know its good stuff...

seaguar Abraz-X and Invis-X work great in the salt, as said it will need changing a little sooner but they'll handle saltwater wayyyy better than mono....

    Default Fishing Line

    Thanks to everyone,
Now I won't worry about my P-Line floroclear line.
