Default NLCS Game 2; What Would Bigfoot Have Done?

Probably left Martinez in... but thankfully Bigfoot hates Cheesesteaks and bad haircuts.

What a game. As City Girl and I always say: "Never Give Up!"

Charlie Manuel had flashbacks of what Grady Little had to go through in the infamous "leave him in" debacle of the of 2003 ALCS. It was an easy call to take him out, and bring in Park, who was lights out the night before.

That's awesome that you got to attend today's game. Many of my child hood memories revolve around seeing some great games at Chavez. I'm sure your daughter will have those same great memories of the Blue.

    A few notes.

    • I'm sitting there chewing my nails in the 8th inning, completely fixated on this tightly contested game, and what do i see coming my way? The EFFIN wave. In a 1-0 game in the 8th??! I swear, our fans are retarded or have the attention span of a gnat, because if you don't think this game is exciting, and you have to find other ways to amuse yourself like standing up in unison while saying, "wooooo," there's something wrong.

    • Is Chase Uttley channeling his inner Steve Sax or inner Chuck Knoblauch or something? Those throws to first have been horrrrrrendous. The Phillies' dugout has caught more of Uttley's balls than Ryan Howard has.

    • Speaking of Ryan Howard, how big are his nostrils? I bet he could hide CC Sabathia up his nose.

    • Work must think I have the swine flu. Left work early for last Wednesday's game, didn't show up at that next day. Left work early yesterday, and I called in sick today. You can only fake so many doctor's notes.

These game start times are gonna get me fired. Screw catering for the 'East Coast" viewers and starting these games when people are having lunch. How about actually catering to the time zone of the actual teams playing?

    • Check out the beard on Chan Ho! (Speaking of which, I'm growing my playoff beard. People must think I'm homeless.)
