My 10/12/10 solo trip, great day, no fish...

Back from my solo trip on DVL.

Got a little bit slower start than would have liked, I was on the water at 7:30, oh well.

Took the rental down to the saddle dam and then around to the west dam and everywhere in between. Stripers boiling occasionally until about 12:00, just random boils however.

Tried kastmaster, krocodile, rapala's, AC Plug, MegaBait cranks, and soft shad jerk baits for little 8" lrg mouth that unbuttoned as I was bringing into the boat.

As I pulled back into the dock there was another group that pulled in right before me. They had at least 10 stripers from 2-12 lbs. (they were weighing them on the dock) caught yo-yoing krocodiles, I guess I should have followed them.

Great day on the water. Warm and no wind at all.

Hopefully I will figure this lake out one of these days. I live 5 miles away and still have never had a good day there...
