Uh-oh, you're in trouble now! Obsession!

I lost a nice striper very early on when I started in December, and have been coming to DVL on average 3 times a week since then. Say goodbye to your normal life, social life etc etc LOL.
    Congrats on the fish though.

    Great report TJ.

I enjoyed reading it. At first I thought you had 20lb striper on the kayak. That would be a quick tour of the lake.

What's with the 10ft rule at DVL? I think my kayak measures 9' 10". Don't worry! I can weld plastic!

    Best report ever....

Stripers rule the freshwater... those 30 second drag peeling runs are crazy huh?

Awww man…what ashamed that sucka came loose…Ive had the same happen on huge pigs off the dam at Castaic….sometimes they get the violent death shake goin too and it’s hard to subdue them and the weight of the heavy swimbait shakes it free,,,

Can’t just tackle ‘em either cuz of those gil slats and treble hooks…….

A net is really the best way…I am guilty of it too as we all get lazy if we’re shore bangin…

Bring that net next time (and a big net too !)

U would have had complete victory with the net : )

But at least U got to experience that whole sick battle…
    Get on em again..

Goes to show U what hunting mr stripey can bring….just when U think otherwise…

“the big hawg iz on the line !”

Good work regardless and nice report….

    I liked it : )

    Saweet : )

And congrats on the LMB but lookout…tanglin’ with the stripey pigs…u’ll soon be lost in stripey’s world..

Get back on ‘em soon : )

    Gary
