Thread: A day out with my baby - and I got spanked!

    Thanks everyone. It was a real fun day with my girl; have not been fishing with her in years.
    That was all on a single shared stringer, and I got the big fish.

    Tacklejunkie, I didn't know you cut your line; if not I would not have thrown you line back in but would have returned your slider to you. Besides, if you could cast over my lines I was crowding you, as I told my daughter; so not really your fault. Nice to meet you.

    ddoskocil the people at the buoy line are primarily bait fishing, but also throwing spoons while waiting for the bait bite.

    BTW I went again today - WAAAY slower. Got 2 fish all day, but was also experimenting with different things.

    No such thing as crowding me at such a large lake, kind sir. ;)
    Hopefully next time we have the opportunity to shake hands instead of tangle lines. Haha.

    Great job. Like father like daughter.
    She's one great fisherwoman ... last time we fished together I got less than half of what she got :). I was glad I didn't skunk though :). That's some great time Ger.

    Yeah, you did great considering you got there at 9:30 and left at 11:30! It was fun!

    Really? I left @ 11:30??? I thought I left around 11:45 or later than that :) lol

    what did you catch them on and were you on a boat and where. but if you had a secret spot you dont have to tell me. ive been looking for a place to catch some striper for a while and i never really look at this part of the forum often because this lake is too far away. i didnt look at the other posts so sorry if you already answered my questions
