Default line color for clear lakes

Hey guys, I was just wondering for clear lakes such as Diamond Valley does the color or tint of fishing line play a big role in catching fish? Like on a couple of my rods they're spooled with suffix siege, color being smoke green. Is there a noticeable difference in using clear over a tinted or colored line like green, camo, smoke etc... ? An I'm not talking about having tinted line an using a clear leader, just line to bait. Thanks in advance for your input fellas

At DVL, the stealthier you are at this time of year, the better. I use clear Seaguar invisix. When the fish become more aggressive, and you use reaction baits, the line is less of a factor...

Clear Floro would be the best bet.

Exactly and don't be afraid to use 5lb for dropshotting!
