Brown Trout Caught 5/5/12
Caught a 14" maybe 1.5 pound brown with a nice hook jaw starting to form Saturday on a senko while bass fishing. Beautiful fish with about 12-15 more aggresive browns between the brush and shore. They would chase the senko but not hit it like the first not so smart one did.Could have put on a small lure and wacked em, but decided to leave them, alone. Would like to post the photo but my phone's not cooperating.

Too funny man. I was there 5/5 and caught 2 browns with a Senko as well exactly the same way you did. They were dep in the bushes at back of the cove. I thought it was weird but a pattern is developing. Is there anything that won't bite a Senko?!? Lol

I went out 5/6 trying to target some LMB and all I caught was a Brown Trout on a Senko also.funny.

They're hiding. Not just from predators, but from bait. Brown's are notorious ambush feeders, kinda like bass.

I hear a very popular hiding place at DVL for those trout are INSIDE a Striper's stomach.

DFG truck stocked them last Tues in the back of a cove.

Really? My pass expires soon, maybe it's time to take a DVL trip.
