    Default Los Alamitos Bay

Hey all long time freshwater angler looking to give the salt a try. I 'm gonna be down in Huntington next weekend and wanting to hit up Los Alamitos Bay while I'm down there for some saltwater bass. I have never once fished the salt so I have no idea how to do it or what to throw. My question is can you fish Los Alamitos Bay from the boat docks or some sort of shore? What do you throw for saltwater bass and how do you fish it. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated thanks!

If you have a float tube you should try to fish from that.

I've float tubed it before and from what I remember, most of the good areas are inaccessible from shore. I believe most of the boat docks are off limits.

The marina POLICE frown on fishing from the docks all rental private. There are a couple of beaches in the area. One is by the yacht club across the channel, the other is across the launch ramp. I think the fine would buy 2 float tubes.
