    Default Ci4 spool

    I have a 2500 ci4 and I love it but can I get a shallow spool like the fml? If I could it would be a beast, it's great but even spooling just half with 2lb it's close to 300yds lol.

    Back the spool with 3/4 full of 10# power pro. Simple uni to uni with 2# topshot. That will give you about 50-75 yards of mono. You will probably never see the spectra to mono connection. When trout season is over, pull off the mono and top it with line for bass... That's what I do.
