Default First time post from DVL. 3/24

Hello all FNNer. Been looking at this site for years now and decide to finally join in and post some report. Went with a buddy to DVL today, and wow that is a big ***** lake. I fish the small canal over in Imperial Valley where I live. This place is a real nice fishing hole. Anyways fishing was great for my first time here. Went out on a rental boat for 4 1/2 hrs. Fish with robos, nightcrawler, spinner and small crank bait "same I use in the IV" . Me and a buddy end up with the limit of LMB. limit here are only 5 fish, and I'm use to keeping 6 fish back at home. My buddy say fish bass here have to be 15".....it 13" in the IV. Well the 15" fish made up for it I guess....most fish are the 15" - 18" that we kept. c&r alot of fish most of them are ligal size too. Found a nice one floating on top with a crappie stuck in it throat, Yes he was dead..still looked pretty fresh, so I kept it too. That it for today......Hope I did ok for my first report

Here are the catch of the day.
