    Default Hensley Lake-Saturday 5/12/07

Conditions: Post Spawn, water temperature ranged from 67-70 degrees, air temperature went from 60- to about 78 degrees. On the water by 6:15 am. Males were gaurding the fry. Only a few bass by 9am on senkos, but that soon changed. Headed toward the dam area and bite went off. Nailed about 30 bass to 3 lbs on senkos and speed traps. Fish were in about 5-10 feet of water. Sorry, no pictures except for one on my brother's camera phone.

PS: If fishing from shore, watch out for the rattlers. I heard a couple on shore that walked right up on one. It was a close call. I could hear her scream and she was wearing flip flops! NOT GOOD!
