    Any good ? How do they stack up with the other brands ? High end or ?

    I just got one. Its a really nice rod from look and feel but I haven't got a chance to get it wet just yet. Trying to get up to Vandenberg to do some surf fishing in a couple weeks once I get back from Seattle.

    They are well liked here on the board. I personally like Dobyns or Powell graphite. This is the way I look at it.....
    Because they make the rod of carrot cellouse or whatever the process they use, the cost compared to graphite is pretty low. Ive heard some reports saying the blank costs like $20 a piece to produce. The grip material is decent and and reel seat is well designed. But the guides, imo, are the turn off. They are using similiar guides to those on $50 Berkley rods. If I paying that type of money for a rod..... ceramics like Fuji Alconites are a must. But remember, this IMO
