Tica! Help!
Was looking at the Tica Caiman DJ series preferably the 200 model. was also looking at the Gold CM Series as well. my friend has the gold series and has no complaints. does any one have any insight on the Dj series? all help is GREATLY appreciated.

That is a sweet looking reel. Check eBay for deals on on the older CJ Caimans, I think they run just under $100, and come with a live bait handle. They look pretty sweet as well.
Sweet looking reel and I would try it if I had the cahones to step away from the mainstream brands. Tackletour has a review on a different Caiman that you may find useful.
i have two ticas, a caiman and a pisces pc200. the caiman hasnt worked out that well for me, ive been lazy to figure out whats up with it. the pisces has been pretty good, i caught my pb calico on that. the build quality is good. if you can stray away from the mainstream reels you should check them out.
