    Default Trout Traps and Stingers

Aren't they the same thing? ... and do you have a preference?

just buy mini jigs and put power worms on them. seems to work better for me and its cheaper. plus most of those baits are 1/16th oz. and i like 1/32.

Default I was thinking of taking a troup trap

and putting on part of a power worm and it might be better than a stinger.

Vanilla - Interesting that you like the 1/32 better. Not being experienced, I would have chosen the heavier 1/16 to start with because it would cast better. Does the 1/32 give better action?

if you have the right rod it does. but sometimes u need a smaller bait if it seems like there not hitting the 1/16th. and if mini jigs dont work i go with lip ripperz worms. wacky rigged splitshoted.

I like the 1/32 also. The 1/16 just seem a little to big to me. Sometimes I even like putting on a 1/64. I never buy any of those fancy things either. I usually just use the cheap tube jigs and put my own power worm on if that's what the fish a keying in on...

you should try to use 2 lb test. you will get a much farther cast than if you where fishing 4 lb
