    Default Frog Lure

    What is a good frog color to use in so cal lakes? which brand and model has the best action? and is 50lb braid line good enough or should i go higher?

    id use 12lb mono and either black or a darker green spro frog.

    Spro Bronzeye frogs and Snag Proof Pro Series or Bobby's Perfect frogs in whatever green, brown, or black color combination you like. Yellow Headed black bird is a nice color too. 50lb braid will work, but you'll want to bump up to 65lb in really thick cover for the extra abrasion resistance. All of these frogs walk easily and catch bass.
