    Default 2010 Eastern Sierra Opener

I just wanted to say good luck to all that's heading up for the opener. Save a few for me as I will be heading up May 7.

I'll be there May 14-17. I'll be hitting Crowley either on the 15th or 16th in my aluminum (blue bimini top). Maybe we can "hook-up"??

Our group will be camping at McGee Creek Campground. Me and two of my buddies are getting there early and fishing Convict Wednesday & Thursday (12th & 13th) then when the other 15 show up Thursday night, we are all going to fish Crowley Friday, Saturday, and some will stay and fish Crowley Sunday. I think I'm going to fish the Loop Sunday. Anyway...it won't be too hard to find us on Crowley. At some point, we will probably all be in McGee Bay. Just listen for the constant sound of beers opening and 18 guys whoopin' it up and giving each other a hard time....that'll be us. I'll keep an eye out for an aluminum boat with a blue bimini by Jiminy and give you a shout out.

I was a good guy and saved you LOTS of fish. 2008 opener caught and released over 60, Last year caught and released around 50...2010...ONE FREAKING 10" trout at Gull.............................
should be better fishing in the Loop once the water warms a bit and the lakes don't have icebergs floating all over them
