    I toss them in a bag then when I get home I toss them in the trash.

    YEA, you can do all of that stuff. But, if you re-melt the worm add some oil based shad or crawfish scent into the pot to re-scent the worms. It get rid of the old smells and the worm are good to go after the re-pour!! Put NON IODIZED salt on the hot worm in the mold on the surface and let it set. OK!! SH--!!!! I just gave up some secrets. LOL!!!
