    Default shimano talora rods

    Hey Guys
    heading up to big bear and then the sierras labor day week and thinking about trying some trolling for trout. I have 2 talora rods TLA-7OUL line wt 2-8 lbs, no reels. Any suggestions on what reels I should set these up with. I was thinking a small to medium sized line counter with 8lb line to a 2-4 lb flouro leader. Can these rods be used with leadcore or should I stay with my original plan and use them more as top water trollers.
