I stopped by Johnny's Sports Shop yesterday, and as I was checking out I noticed a display of Shimano Compre rods on the counter. I paid a hundred for mine, but there the same rod was marked down to $55.00. I think they said they are clearing out all their Shimano rods to get in the new models. If you don't know, these are some quality rods, and if I had the bucks (and if I needed a new rod) I'd pick one up. Hurry over there. These are great prices for some great gear.
