Thread: 2lbs mono w. T-Stop for bullet weights...

Default 2lbs mono w. T-Stop for bullet weights...

Anyone use t-stop with 2 lbs mono & 1/32 oz bullet weights?

I've not but heard about some who use it with 2lbs. Does the bullet weight not nick or weaken the line when they are snugged up with pressure from the bullet weights? These would be an alternative to the Carolina stoppers.

    Thanks,
    UL

I have used tiny 1/32 and 1/64 oz sliding bullet weights with 2 lb test without any problems. Just check your knot and re-tie once in a while. What are you rigging and what are you fishing for?

Fishmounter, may I as where you purchased the 1/32oz and 1/64oz sliders? Thank you.

Yeah, it's hard to find those tiny sliding sinkers. I bought a bunch of them years ago from one of the tackle shops in Orange County. They are very well made with nice clean edges, from a quality machined mold for sure. Might have been Angler's Marine? Hey just start calling around.
