    Default Carp rods

    Anyone have a carp rod?

Im looking to buy a carp rod and Daiwa makes 4 different ones.

I have no experience in carp rods and want to try it out.

Want to use it for other applications as well.

I guess by a "carp rod" you mean a long rod with some backbone. Is that right? I have one 12' rod that was sold as a carp rod by BFS that I don't get out that often. It's great for throwing a heavy weight real far. I also bought one of the Daiwa 10' rods that is super for freelining tortillas or other bait for carp and catfish. I think a really long rod is a great thing to have for carp, catfish, and for surf fishing as well, and Daiwa is one of the few companies that make it easy to buy one. You can easily check them out at Bob Sands' Tackle if you live in the SFV.
