Shimano core mgfv help

My shimano core works perfect for the first 10 to 15 cast. Then it starts to feel sticky "only" when retrieving. I would have to let the reel sit for a while (20-30 mins) before using again. I currently have carbontex drags with light coat of cal star drag grease. It feels like as if I drop the reel in water. Please help if anyone know of this problem.

Thats an interesting one. I have the same reel that I quit using for casting almost completely. I stuck it on a flipping rod and only flip with it now. The reel seems to be much more at home in this use for me.
