    Default Stradic 2500 vs 3000FJ

    I have a 3000 new in box. The 2500 looks more compact. Both reels weigh about the same. I bought a Powell 7'1" light action dropshot rod for bass fishing. Thoughts?

    If I'm not mistaking, it's the same reel, just a bigger spool on the 3000 model. I have lots of 2500/3000 stradics and sustains and can't tell the difference between the two while fishing.
