  Apollo Park Lake

Location and Directions:

4555 W Avenue G.
Lancaster, CA 93536

      Apollo Park is located in the city of Lancaster. From Los Angeles, take I-5 North to Hwy. 14 North. Exit on Avenue H. Turn West and drive 2.5 miles to 50th Street West. Turn Right and continue 1.1 miles to the park.

    The park has 3 inter-connected lakes totaling 26 acres. It is open daily from 6 a.m.- sunset. (661) 940-7701

Boating Info:

    No boats, kayaks, or float-tubes allowed.

Fishing Info:

    The park is stocked with rainbow trout from Winter through early Spring and catfish during the Summer months. There are also bluegill, largemouth bass, crappie, and carp in here.

Comments and Tips:

    This lake gets stocked in the winter every other Thursday starting in November for trout. The fish don't really start hitting till December second week then the water is just about right. the action can be fun on stocker size fish good place to take the kids for their first time fishing and teaching the basics If you live in the A.v. it is a decent place for that two or three hour quick trip two relax and drown a few worms.
