Fishing Info:

Rainbow trout are planted during the winter and spring months by the DFG and Mount Lassen Hatchery. There are also some very BIG Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Crappie, and a good population of Red Eared sunfish in the lake. Largemouth Bass record is 21.3 pounds.

Doc Holliday from Walnut with 12.6 and 6.6 pound bass caught on a Stocker Trout lure.

At times, live crawdads (the premature soft-shelled kind) can KILL the Red Ears here. If you can find them they're usually not cheap at around $8 a dozen but well worth it.
