General Info:
This is one of the larger city lakes in SoCal consisting of 80 surface acres. It is actually an old gravel pit which was converted to a park by the LA County Dept. of Parks and Recreation. The park is open year-round from 7am to 7pm in the summer and 5pm in the winter. There are numerous picnic tables and bbq's available.
Fishing Info:
The California DFG stocks rainbow trout from Fall through early Spring and catfish during the Summer months. There are also largemouth bass, bluegill and carp in here. Best fishing is usually on either sides of the point which connects the two large bodies of water.
